Loutra Aithipsos - Lichatha - Kavos Lichatha - Agiokampos

Aidipsos is the starting point for the excursion. Going along to the road to Saint Nicholas, there is a clear - blue sea on the left and thickly - forested mountains on the right. We see in front of us a magical cove with golden beaches which invite us into the crystal - clear waters. This is a tourist resort. There are good hotels and villas, in a mediterranean landscape and also many restaurants and tavernas, where one can fresh Evian fish.

The road continues through grape - vines and olive tress hugging the coast and leading to the creek of the bay of Yialtron.

Every bend brings a new thrill as the visitor has the opportunity to admire and get to know the many different views of the bay.

The next stop is Yialtra, a mountain village with a breathtaking view of the bay of Yialtra has its own therapeutic spa which gave its name to the village.

The tour continues through an exotic landscape. The green of the pine - trees mingles with the blue of the sea creating beautiful beaches. There are many such beaches for those who want to go swimming under the shade of the pine - trees. In the area Grekolimano, there is one of the most charming beaches with warm crystal - clear water.

Among the greenery and hugging the coast we will come to the fishing village of St. George, which is a tourist resort. As you go uphill through the pine - trees you will have a wonderful view of the Gulf of Evia and them continue northwards to the mountain village of Lichatha.

Continuing along the coastal road, west of Saint George a little further on, one will come across the community of Kavos. The many bays and shallow sea enchant the visitor. There are facilities for scuba - diving and sea - sports (ski - surfing) on Lichathonisia, a group of islands, opposite Kavo.

The road from Kavo continues along the northern coast as far as Agiokambo. Throughout this tour you come across deserted beaches and coves basking in the light and the green of the pine - trees which are ideal for surfing, yachting and fishing.

Agiocambo brings us back to civilization and asphalt. There is a regular Ferry-boat service to Glifa. At the sea side tavernas the fresh fish and shell-fish refreshed the tired traveller.
