The castle of Skyros
built on the site of the ancient acropolis Ruins of the Byzantine church
of the «Assumpation of the Virgin Mary».
The church of St. George
with rare murals, built in 962.
Pelasgika walls at Paliopirgo
Agio Nichola and Agia Praskevi. At Kalamitsa a stone sarcophagus and
an upright Doric column have been preserved and at Markesi engraved
tombs.
At the main entrance
of the castle there is a marble sculpture of a lion on the wall. The
caves Pentokali at Morouliko and Diatripti after the village of Gerania.
The statue of «Eternal
Poetry» in honour of the British poet Rupert Brooke.
The Archaeological Museum
with various exhibits. The Folklore Museum of Falltaits and the Skyrian
House by the castle.
